Q. Where does the name Stone Eagle Productions come from? What does it mean? A. Well, one of us went to high school in Fairfield...a small, sleepy town in the middle of Texas that seemed to be overflowing with eagles. Every day at noon the sky is filled with the sound of beating wings as the majestic birds swoop into town to dive-bomb cars, snatch babies for lunch, and accidentally get sucked into air intake fans. Naturally the high school’s mascot is the eagle, though whether this was done out of fear or respect is unknown. As for the rest...even we’re not sure what we were thinking. Q. I’ve heard that there is a bit of bad blood between you and Lucasfilm. What happened? A. All we will say is that Lucasfilm is extremely anal when it comes to the Star Wars characters and there merchandise. If they don’t like seeing 100 stuffed Jar-Jar Binks doll decapitated and set on fire in their parking lot during the course of a noble and righteous protest then they shouldn’t have had them made so flammable. |
